I'm on Magnet Fibre Broadband 60 for about 2 months. Actually very happy with the service and speed so far, very consistent, bang on 60Mbps with no dropouts.

But for the past 2 weeks Youtube has been absolutely terrible. I'm barely able to watch videos at 240p, and most videos default down to 144p!

Before this there was no problem streaming 1080p videos. and often we'd have a 1080p video streaming on both my PC and laptop at the same time with no problem.

Does anybody know if there's anything up with Youtube? Do Magnet and other Irish ISPs have a tendency to throttle Youtube? Other video sites seem to steam HD content, so it's just Youtube that's the problem.
