Depending on unforseen injuries this week, considering getting Kompany in for Azpilicueta this week, with DGW's in GW34/37 for City.

There is a lot of football to be played between now and the next deadline so I wont be making any decisions just 35 mins after the last deadline.

Way too early to be even thinking about transfers yet most of our players have 180 minutes ahead of them too much can change to even waste time considering changes.

You couldnt pay me to transfer out Azpili. Another cleanie today and his next 4 fixtures are : Palace, Stoke, Swansea, Sunderland.

4 great chances of cleanies again. I'd try get a city defender from somewhere else if it were me :)

Won't be doing anything until all the games are done. Unnecessary risk.

Me either. Looking at Collins to Brown. Not massively enthused about it though. Banking the transfer is also an option. Alternatively, do I dare go back to Clyne? Risky.

Will just bank the transfer I think.

I reckon I'll do the same. My team looks in very decent nick for next week.

Kos to azpil is looking likely. I have 8 gw34 dgw players so plan to do kos to azpil this week and mata to hazard the week after. GW 34 I'll get a 3rd city player in hopefully aguero to bring me up to 9.

I'm thinking about Barkley in as a third Everton player for GW34.

I already have 2 Sunderland, 1 City, 2 Everton and 1 Palace. The plan would be for Barkley, a City defender and Aguero to get me to nine.

I had planned on Adam Johnson but he looks out of form again. Barkley playing off Lukaku was a great success earlier in the season,

most likely sterling out for a 4.2, 4.3 mid as i want to get the shape of my team back and need to start building towards getting aguero and Kompany in.

I want to have 1 really cheap 5th mid that just gets 2 points most weeks should i need him and removes the headache then of having to drop one of the forward 8.

mata or lallana could also be the ones to face the chop. Both have nice fixtures next week though so i'll see how they play in their games today and mata on tuesday.

8 already including (mr 2 point jedinak) but currently no chelsea players. So not as good as it sounds.

before yesterday he had only scored higher than 3 pts once since sept 30th. He is an option but martinez is rotating all his midfielders of late and piennar will probably be fit by then aswell.

I currently have 6, although unsure if you can even count Colback on recent form. Also Mannone is unlikely to pick up many points against Everton and City.

I have three free transfers between now and GW34. Will more than likely bank it this week and then use the next three to bring in DGW players. Mata to Mirallas is looking likely as Everton have the easiest DGW fixtures. Will be looking at Evra closely as he has a juicy DGW in 37 (Sunderland H, Hull H) - would be crazy to dump him ahead of these games but he could easily not play due to a number of factors, like United progressing in the CL, or their league being effectively over and Moyes wanting to blood some new players. Rooney looks a shoe in for GW37. Don't think I'll be getting Aguero in at all.

Looking at shifting Gerrard for Mata possibly or trying to get Rooney in as 3rd striker till season end.
Nolan is a another I got for the DGW who won't last long in my team I reckon.

Rooney misses GW34 and the Bayern games are approaching too. He has a double in GW37 though

Just been looking into that now, with RVP out i want Utd coverage as fixtures look ok and with Mata being Cup Tied he may be the best option if he continues in his favoured role.

Or maybe i am just being an optimistic Utd fan hoping they are going to fire on all cylinders till season end.

I have him and will probably hold him, unless Aguero is an option in GW34 where he has a double.

With Clyne starting again today I think I'll take a chance on him for Collins assuming nothing else changes between now and next Friday night. Can't see either player's price going up or down in that time so not even the slightest bit of pressure to make the transfer any earlier.

Considering Chambers though if I could get some kind of convincing info to say Clyne won't play. That sort of information isn't usually readily available though unless he is injured so I just don't know.

I currently have 6 players with doubles in 34, I'll try bank this week and work Aguero in for Sturridge which will include downgrading Kos to a Crystal Palace defender giving me 8. Then planning on getting Rooney for Lukaku in GW35 and finish the season with a front 3 of Rooney Suarez and Aguero.

Mata is on my chopping block; only a good haul against Man City stops him getting shipped out for Lallana or Silva.

Mata looks to be playing in a more advanced role now so I'd hold on until after the Villa game at least.

Don't think il be looking to make a transfer for this game week but Everton midfielders are on my radar with their double coming up. Mirallas or Barkely

Yeah I watched the match. Lallana would be for GW32 since he has Newcastle H; Silva I would wait until after Arsenal A. Mata is going out before his blank in GW34 even if he has blinders the next two.

Bringing in a Palace defender is the ultimate bringing in a DGW player for the sake of it. Look at their fixtures for the rest of the season. Villa at home the only game where I'd expect a CS, and even that's not a guarantee.

I didn't bother taking hits to get DGW players in this week. Sitting on 115 points, with good contributions from Hazard, Lallana and Azpilcueta.

That's a very good point. Even City have tough fixtures. I have 2 Sunderland and 1 Palace at the minute but think I'll leave it at that. Will work in 1 more Everton player maybe and a City defender. I have 2 Everton and 1 City at the moment.

    Adrian, Mannone

    Bennett, Evra, Dummett, Coleman, Ward

Mata, Yaya Toure, Gerrard, Hazard, Jedinak

    Sturridge, Suarez, Lukaku

    £1m in the bank

Holding on my ManU players until after the Villa Game. Evra not playing against WHU makes me want to dump him now though! Thinking Mata out for Silva & Evra out for Zabaleta when the time comes. Thoughts are to deal with Bennett or bank my transfer to cover those two changes.

Any dirt cheap defender worth having for a few gw's?

    Chester at Hull.

Is Chester a regular? I can't figure out the Hull defence, have Bruce, but annoyed that he doesn't play.

"Then came the equaliser, an injury to Nathaniel Clyne as well and it was a heavy punishment for the way that we played today.

I still wouldn't go near the Southampton defence though; losing the cleanie in the last 5 minutes against Norwich was my final straw.

Chester generally plays when not injured. Bruce appears to have been covering him.

I only have 4.3 to play with, and I'm pretty happy with the rest of my team for now. The other option is Wes Brown. I already have 8 DGW players for GW 34 though and I'm going to be starting Suarez, Sturridge and Hazard for sure so I just don't think I need a Sunderland player for that purpose anyway.

Bardsley is worth a shout as he is a goal threat who likes to get forward a lot.

Transfer plans seem fairly well layed out now until the end of the season. After this week it's 3 transfers in 3 weeks to prepare for DGW34 (get a 3rd Man City player priority); then it's 3 transfers in 3 weeks to prepare for DGW37 (getting Rooney and Man Utd defender is priority); then 1 final transfer for GW38 to make some improvement to squad for final matchday. Big question is will Aguero be back and become a necessity.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 270 ✭✭sanket

Gonna ignore aguero even if he scores a brace in his comeback game.
He is injury prone these days and might get injured while getting down from the bus for the next match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 756 ✭✭✭Who_8_Paul?

Yeah but 3 of Man City's 4 games in GWs 33, 34 and 35 are home to Southampton, home to Sunderland and home to West Brom; away to Liverpool also thrown in there. If Aguero gets back fit, he could go wild

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,685 ✭✭✭✭wonski

I am done with Aguero - too many comebacks so far. Better options out there without any risk involved.
Could be nice differential, but I am not going to risk it.

The future DGW can be 1 match show for him and another for Dzeko.

How many times was he supposed to run wild after his injury?
    Not worth it imo.

I'll probably target Lukaku for DGW34 and Rooney for DGW37

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

Aguero is too much of a risk, been burned again recently and just don't think it's worth it. United's GW37 looks far juicier. I'm looking at banking my transfers this week, then probably Silva and Mirallas in for GW33. Looking at my team for GW34 and I'll probably bank my transfer tbh. Will be benching Colback too, DGW or not. I'll have 7 DGW'ers plus Azpil + Hazard (who face Stoke at home) and SAS who are undroppable at the moment, even at home to City. Can't see any of those 4 that are worth dropping so will bank it ahead of GW37.

I've been burned twice by him this season so have lost 8 points through transfers. I'll be waiting until he is back and confirmed fully fit before I bring him in this time.

I plan to bank my transfer this weekend unless Gerrard picks up a booking. Will bring in a City defender and Everton midfielder ahead of GW34. May even bring in Hart as well.

Doubling up on the Chelsea defence worked well for me there for a few weeks so I'm not as adverse to it as I used to be.

If Aguero has played a game or 2 by DGW34 then I'll get him. I've got nothing to lose so if it fails then who cares.

A prospect like that for the rest of the season with City gunning for the title is hard to ignore. The Dzeko bridge has well and truly been burnt though and has been for weeks now!

Hart is a great option and was my plan all along foolishly changed getting him in for boruc to bringing in mannone instead on friday night. Not one of my better moves considering I already have bardsley.

I've been debating between Hart and Mannone and think I'll go with Vito. Hart has the easier fixtures but will very rarely get more than one save or bonus point. Mannone on the other hand has shown he can go double digits and is also 1.5m cheaper.

Its probably a toss up to be fair when you factor in the extra 1.5. Another downside to hart is he takes up 1 of the 3 city options in your squad which could be crucial if aguero comes back.
Im thinking with sunderland now that they will have to become more attacking as they try to stay up so clean sheets may dry up.

I'm gonna save a transfer this week and get him in next week if he has made a successful return. I think he's worth the risk given city's double game weeks and his class.

Also I already have 8 dgw players so can afford to take the risk.

My plan is to get Aguero in for Sturridge for GW33. From there on Aguero plays 8 versus Sturridge's 6. Will be praying he doesn't break again.
