    What do you think people think they control?

    Their bladders?
    Or are they controlled by their bladders...
    Sure you exert enough influence over your bladder to avoid pissing yourself but ultimately it's a battle you will lose and then you are forced to find a place to pee...
    Except that assumes a sort of dualism, that you are a passenger or pilot in command of your body but in some way separate...
    but you are your body, so your bladder doesn't control you, it is you.
    You are your own bladder.
