My friend Yaris, it's cd player stopped working, the radio works fine, I'd like ot try fix it for her.
Any common faults with these or things I should look for like fuses etc?

What do you mean by 'stopped working'? Is it loading/ejecting, is the disc spinning, is anything happening. Has it been used as a money box by kids?

I won't be able to answer your query by the way, just your answers will make it easier for anyone in the know to diagnose the problem.

I'd imagine there's not a lot you can do unless you're able to fix CD players.

I'll ask those questions of my friend.
I can't see it being a quick fix either, but thought I'd ask anyway.

All faults are repairable. I have been repairing car audio for many years so if you can describe your fault in as much detail as possible then we can give you an idea whether or not it is worth repairing.
