IMF Bailout for Ireland / Ukraine

Watched an interview earlier related to IMF negotiations with Ukraine over a bailout package. One of the economists was Michael Hudson and he implied Irish kleptocrats had taken the IMF bailout for themselves and left Irish taxpayers holding the bill.
A Kleptocracy is a form of political and government corruption where the government exists to increase the personal wealth and political power of its officials and the ruling class at the expense of the wider population, often with pretense of honest service

I've emphasized the comments about Ireland and how what happened here will happen to the Ukraine with their bailout package.
All of the money that has been given by the IMF and the west in the past has been given to the kleptocrats that run Ukraine.
The UN and the World Bank have Ukraine right next to Nigeria for the Gini coefficient of concentrated income.

So, basically, the Europeans have told the kleptocrats, the 10 or 12 billionaires that run the country.
We will make you very very rich if you join us. We will give you a lot of IMF money.
You can transfer it into your banks and your bank accounts.
You can then send it abroad to your offshore banking centers and the Ukrainian people will own it. [the debt]

So, you can do to the Ukraine what the Irish government did to the Irish.
You can take the public money, give it all to the private bankers and then you can tax your people and make them pay
    .
Either the Russian government will get the IMF money, for gas and other exports or the kleptocrats will. None of this money's going to go to the Ukrainian economy any more than the IMF money went to the Irish economy or the Greek economy or the other economies there. [in EU]

IMF money doesn't go the country and it doesn't go to the people, it goes to the billionaires who run them to take the money and immediately send it back to the west. So, it goes in and out of Ukraine in about 20 minutes.

Anyone else think Irish people have been screwed over by private bankers?

I thought the bailout was grand tbh. Wouldn't mind another one again sometime soon. Sure what would you want to keep your hard earned money for anyway?

yes, i was part of the Galway occupy and for 270+ days lots of us had hoped for greater public support and maybe we could have done something
    to challenge the corruption, together.

instead we are where we are today because the 99.9% clearly showed they were either too busy in general, busy during each and every protest organised, or just didn't give a ****.

now we've got the fine gaelers recently stating at their ard fheis that the lack of attendence at protests since the current government got in is a show of support from teh general public towards politics in Ireland today.

    jebus wept!!

No. The Irish people were screwed over by Fianna Fail and The Vegetables.

Yes. People who don't really know what happened, or how banks work, or how an economy works, and earn a lot less than they think they are work and hate rich people.
