If your flying with Ryanair from Dublin to a European city do you need to print off your boarding pass or is it ok to show the pdf on a smart phone?

I'm thinking about both the security at the airport and the boarding gates (no bag dropped needed).

You need to print it, a PDF on phone does not work - with mobile check in you get in a QR code (not a PDF).

They have dropped the price of their boarding passes to €15 if you're stuck to print it out yourself.

I think they've said that they are bringing in mobile boarding passes around June with a new app (badly needed as well). So if your flight is later then that, you may be able to avail of it but otherwise a print off is necessary.
