Youtube/Vimeo question, linking to a video to start at a particular point.

    Hi all,

    I figured this might be a good a place as any to ask?

    Is it possible to provide a link in a blog to a youtube or vimeo link, so when someone clicks on the link, it starts at a certain place, say for example, at 4 mins in?

    On youtube yes, not sure about vimeo.
    Rightclick video on YT and choose Copy video at current time.
    Link will look like http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=yy04cT043V8#t=101 notice t=101

    On YT when you click on share video it gives you the option to start at a certain point.

    Ya, it's just started offering this option on the YT page in the last few days.

    It's been possible to do it by manually coding for a while now.
