Family-Friendly Walking Dead coming for US TV

    I didn't see any off-topic thread, as I would have posted it there, but I thought this too bizarre/funny/daft not to share: a broadcast, 'family friendly' US network is going to show the Walking Dead, it's going to be 'edited to meet broadcast content standards and will carry a TV-14 rating'.

    I'll be honest, I am kinda curious what something so inherently violent to its core like Walking Dead might look like defanged so the whole family can 'enjoy'; I actually have a hard time fathoming how the show would even work without its grim, gritty trappings & violence.

    I could see it working as a one off 10 minute short film where Beth sings songs to the group by campfire, Rick does some farming, Carl eats pudding, Michonne hangs up some paintings and Lizzie makes friends with the walkers...
