I've had great ideas when i'm in that place between fully asleep and half awake and wish i woke there and then and wrote them down. not so much inventive ideas rather moments of clarity...... oh and if there is such a thing before visiting the toilet would it be called tip of the rim sensation, like tip of the tongue sensation? or possibly "turtling thoughts"????

I think Ill run with the idea from today, It's suitable for a gig/live installation. I dont want to explain it here as I want to keep it on the hush for now.

Its a phenomenon closely linked to one which usually takes the form "I had an idea but I cant remember it, I only remember it was a brilliant idea!"

These things only seem like great ideas when you cant fully analyse them or know you cant do them right away. Once it gets down to actually doing it its never as good an idea as you thought it was.
