Just found out that I'm on the waiting list for UCD.... anyone else in the same boat?

Does anyone have any idea how long the waiting list is? Just wondering how realistic my chances are...:(

Don't be too discouraged I got in through the waiting list last year,usually they tell you where u are if your high on the list and if you are, their is a higher chance of getting in just keep at them obviously they have to wait till everyone responds to their offers it's literally a waiting game now,but keep in touch with them and they'll know you really want it

Thank you Roberta88 - I definitely need to find out where I am on the list!

I am estimating I will have to wait at least another 2-3 weeks for them to send any offers out to people on the waiting list, is that about right from your experience?

Well they have to see who accepts and I'd say the deadline is about 2weeks I remember it was around the beginning of April when I found out and the only reason they told me over the phone is because I kept ringing and tey usually can't tell you specifically where u are on the list but they can give a rough idea tey told me because I was first on the list

That's brilliant you were first on the list, still stressful waiting though I bet. I wouldn't have thought they take that many from the waiting list but suppose it's impossible to speculate on that...

Hi clare, im in the same boat!! waiting list ive accepted cork but am holding out for ucd!!

also i rang and emailed and they told me that are not allowed give out any information regarding peoples positions in the waiting list
