Jah will provide

Ive never really worried about much. I find the universe generally sorts things out for me.
I seen a documentary on some hippie that didnt work or do anything except sit around smoking weed and playing guitar and raising a family. Jah will provide hed just tell the wife and you know what? **** was provided.
Every day hed wake up with nothing yet hed be well fed come night time.
I began to adopt this approach when dealing with stressful situations. "jah will provide".
Now Im sure jah is probably as fictional as the rest of them. I know nothing of the rasta religion except the well known stuff. I dont follow it. But it helps me deal with stress.
Take this week. Landlord moving us on. Promised a reference but then refused it.House we had ready fell through because we were told. Reference will only be given on last day.
So after spending the day driving around every rentable place in meath and being told by letting agents its too late to have anywhere ready by friday I felt the stress rising.
I went home. Decided id just stay here let the landlord try evict me. Id no other option jah will provide dont worry kids.
Then this morning out of the blue a friend rings. He needs to rent out a hhouse by friday to move into a rented houseshare because the mortgage is crippling him.
Good man Jah fair play to you.
How do you deal with stress?
Atheists does this make me a monster?
Does most people not believe in religion just use it for stress relief?
    So many questions.

Meath was last resort because Dublin was impossible with everyone wanting somewhere there.
Place I got was in ideal location.

So a Dub moved to Meath, what about the other 150,000 or so who did over the last 20 years, did they need to follow this inspiration?
    Jah having a laugh?

    So many questions.

I'm an atheist and no I don't think it makes you a monster. :) I try to be positive in stressful situations, even when nothing is working out. Hope is a magical thing.

It will all be okay in the end, if it's not okay, it's not the end. :)

Can't answer the second question, as I can't speak for most people who believe/don't believe.

How do people hold Jah responsible for the serendipity stuff but don't hold Jah responsible for the chaos that the serendipity delivers them from?

Is Jah master of all creation or not? Or only when it suits Jah?

If you want to say Jah provides- fine - but you must then also logically admit that Jah dumps you in the stink on a willy-nilly basis, no?

You do know that Jah is a shortened form of Yahweh, right?

I like women and I love getting high,
I like a house and a car just fine but
I love Jah and creation too,
and I don't really care if it's all right with you.
I love my family even the bald heads,
and I love my friends even with no dreads,
cuz we all get by and to ourselves stay true -
and I don't really care if it's Rasta to you.

One must assume he has time to cause people trouble when he is so busy doing good stuff.

He fixes the trouble the devil may cause if you ask me.
Disclaimer I dont really believe jah is provideing he could very well be but something usually provides. Its more a stress management thing.

There is no point in stressing about 5hit. If it's gonna happen it's gonna happen. I am a firm believer in fate, everything is mapped out for us and stuff happens for a reason.

People have often tried to tell me that we create our own destiny and I believe that too however what we are creating is because that is what is supposed to happen and it's not a case of choosing one thing so as to avoid something else happening. What happened as a result of our actions was supposed to happen. Call it what you want, I call it life.

... Its more a stress management thing.

But if Jah only causes good but another agent causes the bad, then logically Jah is not master of the universe as purported by followers. Jah can only have meaning as creator and subsequently being absolute lord of all his creation. Maybe i'm derailing into an old chestnut there.

If just stress management or panic avoidance technique (that all will somehow just work itself out) - then I cannot knock that. Whatever gets y'all through the night.
