I'm flying back to Ireland from UK for the weekend and when I was checking in for the return journey (separate booking) I realised that I MAY have entered the expiry date incorrectly for my gf's passport.

What should I do? Risk going to the gate and see if they cop on? The expiry date isn't on the boarding pass. Dont want to incur fees for having them change it and I cant change it via the website since I've already checked in.

I don't think it says passport expiry date on the boarding pass, only your name, doubt they check anything else. However, try to call them would be my advise.

Considering they didn't do anything wrong, I wouldn't be expecting them to be copping anything on.

I put the wrong country of origin on my passport (Italy) contacted them on twitter and they corrected it free of charge

You have a small window (24-48hours) to correct any errors FOC, you'll have to ring them.

I think that's related to making a booking. Doesn't say anywhere on the website about checking in details.

I had tweeted them last night and they got back to me this morning. They asked for a DM with the ref number and expiry dates and they would correct it free of charge. Sent them both ref numbers and expiry dates to be sure.
Puts my mind at ease anyway.

    Thanks for the input.
