Often a small simple job ends up been a quite a big job !
Draining is easy as there should be a drain hose connection close to boiler. Filling and venting 100% safely is a different matter if your not experienced, especially with solid fuel boilers. I'd recomend getting a professional to do or help you. It's not a big job but can be dangerous when things go wrong. As solid fuel systems don't have the benefit of a safety thermostat and a switch to turn off quickly if things start rumbling.
