Hi, just looking for a perspective on this,
I have recently come off anti depressents which made me put on a lot of weight which I am not comfortable with. I feel so guilty now when I eat and can't even look at myself in the mirror or be intimate with my partner, I have started exercising quite regularly and also I have found myself throwing up after meals. I don't think its a problem really because I only do it when he is not home. I am a student so I have flexible hours so it would only be after breakfast and lunch, he would be home by dinner so I don't do it then- meaning I do have control over it but I don't want to stop.

Is it normal for people to do this just until you get to your target weight and feel good about yourself again?

OP - throwing up after eating is not normal and if you believe you are in control of it you are mistaken.
Please go see your GP immediately and work with them on this.
