Anyone feel it? Twas at 8.45 pm - 9.15 depending on what you read?

Apparentely it was off the Welsh coast but the South East felt the most.

Was not far off the Wexford Coast

    Any trembles or just noise??

Not heard of anything but those figures don't seem correct, 8.45 is HUGE.

Normal size quakes in this region may hit 5 if you're very lucky (or unlucky)

The Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies said it was expected , but never told us .

Was it accompanied by a noticeable rumbling noise?

I was shaving at about 8:45pm and I thought I heard some strange rumbling. I stepped out of the bathroom and it continued for a couple of seconds and then stopped. I assumed it was the tank upstairs re-filling or something, but the noise was quite distinct.

It wasn't until later I realized there was an earthquake.

The only thing is that even though they're very mild, structures here are very brittle.

Had to laugh at that alright. Perhaps though they just expected it in say, the next 2-5 years, as opposed to expecting it at 8.45pm on Tuesday 18th March 2014 ??

It was quite close to the coast of Wexford, not Wales, 2.2 Richter scale, I'll amend the title to reflect that.
