    Hello

Any recommendations please for nice resort in Morocco, not too touristy, near town/historical sites and also near enough so we can do the trip into the Sahara that I have heard of. Havent booked flights yet until I decide where we will stay.

I would like to get nice accommodation, possibly self catering but not essential. Somewhere not too packed with families (my kids are teens now so don't want to be tripping over toddlers on the beach!)

    Thank you!

If you want to do a proper desert trip then you need to be based in either Fes or Marrakech, i think Marrakech has more options. The desert trips are amazing too.
