    Hi
    I have a Leyland 282 syncro 1979 reg
A power steering pipe conveying oil from the cab to the front burst and I replaced it but the steering isnt working right since I have to twist the steering wheel a lot of times before I get a response and its very slow
I raised the front axle off the ground and rotated wheels to extremity both right and left but still only half working
Any Thoughts on what I should do next?

Hi and welcome to boards.ie. I separated your post out as you resurrected an old one I'd already shut once already.

Hopefully you'll get the answer you need.

Have you checked the flow of oil going to the steering? Checked that all the filters are clean? Checked there isn't a physical reason for the steering being obstructed, which may have caused the burst pipe in the first place? And checked to see the system isn't full of air? Crack a pipe at the very end of the line and gently turn the wheel - see if you get oil or air.
