Nothing wrong with being pervy, but that guy was analysing way too much instead of just having fun with the idea! I dunno, opinion is divided on whether the awkwardness makes it endearing, or just cringeworthy. The American one they weren't analysing half as much, like the younger guy -

I like it too. Awkward but lovely. Exactly as you say: you've just been "set up" with some fella/gal for a shift behind the back of the theatre/school/down the beach/in a field and you've never talked before and you're standing there 'till someone lunges.
