    Hi,
I was just wondering what users preferences are for the above type of lens?
Searching through the amount of lenses available on ebay can be daunting!
I also read that some lens can retract too close to the sensors (touching) on an SLR?
Should i take this into consideration or is it just certain lenses that i should avoid?
    Thanks

What camera system are you using? Canon's own EF 50mm f/1.8 II probably the best for that system and dirt cheap. Nikon have a great 35mm if you're on a crop (which would make more sense than a 50mm).

    I ended up getting a zenitar 1.7 50mm prime.
The adapter just arrived today so I can mount it onto my Nex-5n
    Chuffed so far :-)
