Mini Mechanic in Cork

    Does anybody know of a mechanic in Cork that might specialise in the newer Minis? A friend of mine has a Cooper S with a panoramic roof that has gone on strike. Quotes for repairs so far have varied from 1000 too 3000 euros at a main dealer.

    Apparently it is quite a common fault for these roofs but mechanics seem to want to run a mile from it. He's getting desperate and is considering just selling the car to be done with it so said I'd try here for him first...

    I was going to suggest a lad I know in Tougher who's 5'1" and handy with the spanners.

    Is his name Gerry? I know him as well. He used to work with a decorator on site, he painted the skirting boards.
