Has anyone any idea what the inductance per phase or operating voltage of this is? Or the best way to find out? I've got a mulitmeter and a drill!:D

It's the pan actuator motor for one of these.

    ...and a pin-out?
    6 pins, 2 phase motor (i think).

Tried that. Stepper K310 not listed on manufacturer website. I think it might be a custom jobbie.

6 pins pin out is probably 2 windings and their centres tapped.

Yeah it's centre tapped windings, for high torque. 2 phase.
Testing it by hand and drill had promising results without an RPM counter, but I think they're going back from whence they came...too expensive for what they are.
I was playing with the idea of a 4 stepper VAWT.
Plans shifted back to drawing board, single stepper with a boost reg. HAWT may be more fit for purpose. Might just abandon it til Autumn now that the PV is cutting the mustard again.
    Thanks for the input folks.
