My wireless randomly disconnects from the internet

    Hi,

I don’t know if I am in the right place.

I am running windows 7 on a Dell XPS 17 (L702x), my router model is (UPC TC7200)

The wireless in my XPS seem to disconnects lately every 20mins or so and it doesn’t come back until I run the windows diagnostic tool to check the wireless connection.

Every time I run the windows diagnostic tool I am left with the following message:

    Problems found
“Your Computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding”

    Or

“The connection between your access point, router, or cable modem and the Internet is broken” when I get this message my internet connection still working, which I find strange.

I have run all the Ipconfig commands, but didn’t work, therefore, I was wondering if someone could help me to resolve a wireless issue that I have.

    Thanks.
