Hmm, I tried it at around 10am and it wouldn't work so I assumed the code had exceeded its limit. Tried it again and I got this message "You have reached the code usage limit."

Maybe that means it's reached the limit for me personally? I've redeemed two, perhaps three of these codes. How many have others redeemed?

Connection timed out doesn't mean it's failed though. It may have still worked on the backend, but not responded to you. Check your gold count and see.

Not really a code but if you change your Wargaming password, you get 300 gold. Yes, they announced this months ago but and I changed it then too so it's working again now for some reason.

In general it's a one-off thing, but that counter can be reset for events or scares like these.
