Add a static route to an Eircom F1000 modem

    Hi all,

Im trying to add a static route to an Eircom F1000 router, the web interface shows it, however it doesnt work. If I log into the routers CLI and do a route show, it doesnt show there either.

Im setting up a route so that 10.1.0.0/16 is behind another router at 10.1.1.1, simple enough you would think..

Am nearly ready to just bridge the eircom box and put something decent bheind it, but would rather not waste a router doing that.

    Anyone got an idea?

UPDATE:ok, got the route to work by pointing it at the bridge on the router, but PCs connected directly to the modem still cant see 10.1.0.0/16
