I've no real interest in it but I don't see why it was closed and told to discuss it in the horseracing forum. Asking a bunch of supporters of the sport if they think it should be banned isn't going to lead to any discussion and the op will just be accused of being a troll. Its also unlikely to get any input from people…

Its also unlikely to get any input from people outside the horseracing sphere. If I went to the soccer forum and asked if it should be banned the only one getting banned would be me from that forum.

Maybe there's a better forum than AH for it, Humanities or Animals or somewhere, but seems stupid to just say discuss it in the horse racing forum

Yep, it sure is madness to ask people to discuss horse racing in the horse racing forum. Almost as mad as asking people to either use the feedback forum for feedback or contacting a particular mod to discuss that particular mods actions.
