    Went for a job interview in the Realm Communications place in Citywest about ten years ago. The position simply said 'Office Manager'.

    After 30 seconds in the place I blew whatever chance I had by laughing when I found out what they did. Each to their own I know but no way was I able to keep a straight face during that talk.

    My car was in the shop at the time and my dad dropped me to the interview. He had not even left the Industrial Park when I rang him back to collect me. He says I should have stayed to hear them out. A job is a job he said. Personally I just could not do it, even if I would have nothing to do with the 'psychic' parts.

    I don't think many people in full possession of their faculties would be sucked into thinking that someone shuffling a deck of cards on the end of a premium phone line is able to tell them the lottery numbers. But the world is full of hopeful fools, so who knows?

    I know one person who admits to using them. Sadly he's intellectually impaired, and you would find it quite obvious if you were talking to him. This doesn't deter the genuine Irish psychics from keeping him on the phone and bleeding him of the pittance he has to live on.

    Someone stole some money from my house and at the sametime racked up a big bill calling one of these psyhic phone lines on my phone. All my friends joked that she was phoning up to see if she would be caught for robbing the money!
