UPC including mobile phone setup?

My called UPC about a price increase he had and they ended up talking about UPC being able to provide his mobile phone setup. They say he will need to spend 80euro and will get a new horizon box, 200mb, phone line and mobile phone setup. I'm not sure how this works. I couldn't see anything on UPC about it.

My dad said he will need to switch from bill pay to pay as you go and some other stuff...

    Anyone know anything about this?

They have released an app so that you can link your UPC home phone account to your mobile so you can make and receive calls though your UPC phone on your mobile, you just need a good data plan for it.

AFAIK it only works on WiFi, not a 3G data connection.

It will work on a 3G tethered connection if that's any use.
