DA not Paid

    I just checked my Bank Account and my DA hasn't been paid today. Who do I contact about this?

    Hiya,

    hopefully it's just the bank being slow, but the Disability Section is in Longford. Their numbers are 043 334 0000 and 1890 927 770.

    The Community Welfare officer would be your other option, contact details are online here: http://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/Intreo-Centres-and-Local-and-Branch-Offices.aspx (search location on right)

    Been on the phone all morning. Rang the Disability section and they said the payment has cleared on their end as normal so it must be an issue with my bank.
    Now its up to the to sort it out

    If it was due in today, it will probably be there tomorrow. DA is usually paid into the bank on Thursdays.

    I've got mine on a Wednesday since I went on it 5 years ago. Turns out the issue was with the Bank and not the DSP

    Are you on Disablement Benefit through PRSI or invalidity bu any chance? They are paid on a Thursday.

    No I'm on Jobseekers but OH is on DA but on a FAS course and gets paid on a Thursday, so I may have got confused there, Wednesdays is probably the normal days for DA
