    Hi all

I realigned my sky dish a couple of weeks ago after the recent storms, I used a signal meter to fine tune the alignment, and tightened up the nuts,

So I checked the signal qty = 90% signal quality = 60% and thought all was ok.

But over the last couple of days I noticed that 3e , syfy and universal channels aren't working? Signal strength is 0% on just these 3 channels. All other channels are perfect.

Box is sky+ HD box...any ideas of what I can try?

    Thks

What is the signal strength/quality like of the other channels carried on the same transponders as those channels, Eutelsat28A C1 & C3 transponders?

Eutelsat would be weaker than the Astra satellites, you could try realigning the dish using these Eutelsat frequencies.

    Thanks Cush,

TCM + 1 is gone also, so I am probably missing all of these channels belonging to these transponders - will check this evening,

So I if understand correctly, should I select one of these channels on the Sky box and then do my Realignment again using the Sat meter connected to the LNB?

That's how I would do it with my Digiair Pro sat meter. Also check the LNB's skew, about the 7 o'clock position as you look at the dish.

Nice one, LNB Skew is definitely at 6 o Clock position, will try that also, thks

Dishpointer indicates a skew of -17 degs (standing behind the dish) for my location.

All sorted now, LNB at 7 o clock skew did the trick,

    Thanks again Cush
