Galway Airport

    Guys can anyone point me here in the forum where Galway Airport was charging for flying in their airspace, I cannot find the posts and there were a lot of them

    Any help appreciated

    Well there was a thread over in the Galway forum which mentioned it. I mentioned it in fact.

    They certainly won't be charging anyone at the moment. They seem hell bent on kicking out paying tenants!

    Does anyone know why the CTR and CTA are still shown on the charts? Shouldn't they have been removed long ago?

    I heard they were selling all of the GSE and the interior of the terminal?

    Ask the IAA and Ordnance Survey. I'm sure the next edition of the charts will reflect the changes. The AIP only displays the last issue of the charts. In any case it's referred to in the NOTAMS and the relevant AIP supplement. No navaids available and class G airspace. In theory you're supposed to update the chart yourself in between issues.

    They only update the charts every few years. Sometimes a lot of years.
