Looks like someone harvesting pics off the net to me.
Most seem to be 'sent in'

That's what I was wondering myself, seeing as the most of the vehicles have original Irish regs got me thinking otherwise though.

They're all sent in according to whoever set up the page

I do enjoy looking through some of those pics tbh.

But the 94 Starlets and other crap being put up is a bit odd.

Mildly amusing, esp. since a genuine barn find seems to be a rarity here.
'Hedge find' or 'big hape of briars find' would be more apt.

    +1

The likes of the pre recession high performance cars are lying up in favour of diesels/econoboxes. I know of a few stories of 5 figure sums spent on cars 6-8 years ago, only to be sold on today for small beer.

I can think of a few such vehicles off hand locally!

Can't imagine a time where a people carrier would be considered a sought after 'barn find'.

I'd imagine people said the same thing about the Fiat 600 Multipla 40 years ago.

Having viewed Google Images...this I shall allow, however the recent Multipla abomination should be killed by fire. No quarter.

And also, no doubt, they said the same thing about the Fiat 600 Multipla 40 years ago. In 40 years hopefully I'll have collected by cheque from the President, and I guarantee you this, if you assemble all the current crop of people carriers in a field, Zafiras, Galaxys, Sharons, Alhambras (oh, the last 3 are the same thing, how original) and the rest, the one that will garner the most attention will be the Fiat (bug eye) Multipla.

Suppose people will still pay money to see a Freak Show.

I'm a fan of the original Multipla, and the new (pre watered-down facelift) version. On top of all that, it's a well regarded practical car, so it's got both quirky looks (that I love) and good design to it's credit.

Re barn finds. I know of a low mileage, late sixties, Fiat 600, that's been sitting preserved away from the elements in a shed for the last 25 years (or more). There's bound to be many similar scenarios still all over the country.

might be a problem getting them taxed, with the new laws. i doubt too many of them were ever "declared off the road".
