Mar 2014-Start up Cork City Wedding Band seek Guitarist

We're together only 6 weeks and are still sorting out a set. The line up is 5-piece - drums, keys, bass, guitar and vocals but our guitarist has had to move on and, as we already have a few gigs lined up, we're looking for a replacement ASAP

We're aiming to be a wedding band with a difference - the music won't be your usual fare (no Sweet Caroline, Disco Inferno, Mr. Brightside etc.) but will be over a huge range of styles. The plan would be 50 weddings next year with strategic Bar gigs, all in the Cork/Munster area.

We range in age from late 20s to early 50s, loads of experience between us, all good gear and have the right attitude. The "sucessful candidate" (saw that in a job advert once!) will need to be mature, available for practise at least one night a week with the band and be prepared to work on his/her own parts in their own time. Reliable gear, transport, commitment, maturity and backing vocals are a requirement

PM with your thoughts and we'll be back to you one way or the other.
