Well my missus is getting some work done on her 04 VW polo. Brought it in for a service. Mechanic serviced the car for €114. He's also done a report up on what has to be done on it as it's due an NCT next month. The front break pads and discs need renewing. Front wishbone bushings need renewing and front righthand side cv boot. We were quoted €250 for parts and labour. Is this a good price? And does everything I called out make sense? I'm thinking of just bringing it into the NCT first and see will it fail on all of the above first. What ye think?

That docent strike me as being perticularly expensive. And all the things you called out are real things that your car has if that's what you mean. Discs, pads, wishbone bushes, and cv boot for 250 sounds alright to me. You could always put the car through the nct and see if it fails. But if the cv boot or bushes are anyway bad it will fail as they are common fail items.

Whatever about anything else, get that CV Boot done ASAP, the CV joint will fail very rapidly if you dont.
