is it me or does it seem like this is a series based on the rainmaker from looper:D:D

heard the other day that the showrunner Mark Friedman has already left the show due to creative differences, not a good sign, but it looks like it could be a good show,

Starts tonight, looks very similar to Touch

Pretty decent. Definitely comes across as Touch v2, but Bo is a bit more interesting than Jake was.

Fight scenes were good, special effects were decent and there is enough of a mystery to keep me interested (although Kyle MacLachlan was hamming it up big time - if he had a moustache, he would have been twirling it while saying "Muhahahahahahaha")

Hasn't a HOPE of getting more than one season though.

It's funny how you can tell when a movie director does a TV episode and it really shows. With the Walking Dead pilot was released, you could really see the touches of Frank Darabont coming through. Same thing here with Alfonso Cuarón and here- his touches were everywhere, especially all of the long-shot sequences. The very beginning with the car crash was so much like the fantastic moment in Children of Men when (not to give many spoilers) the car ambush scene. After Walking Dead's pilot, you could see that Darabont's presence was missing as it lacked everything the pilot had. Hopefully Believe won't go down the same route.

Yeah I like it. The girl who plays Bo is very good, but Tate is a dick.

Anyone started watching Believe yet? I'm a little late to the party myself as the third episode has aired and I only started watching the pilot on Tuesday night.

What a great show! I was very sceptical. It struck me as another Touch and, since I hated Touch so much, I was reluctant to watch but I'm glad I did now.

I'm interested at the moment to see where they'll go with the kids powers. Generally they seem impressive and you have to wonder just how powerful she is seeing as she's being sought out while there are kids with similar power aplenty available. I was wondering myself why she didn't do something at the petrol station where she could definitely have averted the whole situation. I thought it was a good explanation though, she really is just a kid despite her mocksy and it's nice to see that humanity expressed really.

It's a well-shot show too and some scenes are really well put together. The sequence where the kid was being rescued from the hospital was fantastic!

If I had to sum this up, I'd say it's Touch done properly without the numbers bullcrap on that show. The kid is just annoying enough but not over the top and you just kow that she'll evolve and become a bit more likeable. Interesting premise and I hope they'll keep the quality going!

It's almost exactly like touch. Well... slight exaggeration but it's exactly what I was thinking. Thought the first episode was bad - poor acting and opening scene like a studio. Was thinking I mightn't even finish the episode. Second was a bit better. Watchable but very touch-esque. Think I'll leave episodes rack up before watching any more.

Tate is annoying - looks like a Nickleback fan.

wouldn't be interesting if Tate was a dudley do right nice guy.

I like both of them - it is a nice pairing

however, I'm 3 episodes in and the layout has been the same for all three - Tate and Bo evade the cops, bad guys plot but get no where, Bo helps somebody, Tate gets arrested and then Delroy Lindo shows up just in time to save them - this actually causes Tate to be more of a danger to Bo than a guardian, she'd be safer with Winter since Kyle McLachlin can't find him at all

I would have switched off by now but for the two leads, I love Fugitive/Hulk helping those in need type stories and Kerry Condon

I'll give it the benefit of the doubt that the writers are going to either sort it - but the only way I can see through is for Winter and his team to be taken out of the equation - either captured or killed - and leave Bo's safety completely in Tate's hands - otherwise what the hell is the point of him in the show

It finished last night. Maybe they knew it was going to be cancelled and had an exit strategy, because it ended very well. All loose ends seemed to be tied up and the climax had a couple of great emotional scenes.

Worth watching (and not a waste of time).

Johnny Sequoyah has a bright future ahead of her.

yes - Bo and Tate were a great team

does anyone know why the most recent episodes are no longer on Sky Go?

they were available just last Wednesday or Thursday

It's good they've been able to finish properly. I lost interest in the series as I watched. It was better than touch and Bo is far more likeable than Bratley on that show but I felt it kind of lacked something as well. I think it's hard to do these kinds of shows well.

I thought it was a good show and could have easily continued for another season. Finale was very good in that it didnt seem like it was rushed
