    We won't beat Bayern Munich.

    We won't signed Toni Kroos.

The hardest tie of all, and just to top it off, we're at home first. Ball. sack.

Not doubt we'll waste the first leg by being ultra cautious.

Maybe we could get SAF to run onto the pitch at full-time and present Kroos with a jersey

At least this will probably get Moyes sacked.

Probably the best tie for moyes as no one will expect utd to win

I think Madrid would've been a tougher game, Madrid play a high paced game, we've shown all season we can't play against that. At least Bayern will keep the ball and pass it around the pitch for 90 mins.

I'm expecting 1-1 at OT, and about 3-0 away.

Is it Chelsea or PSG in the semis then?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,080 ✭✭✭✭Maximus Alexander

    I'm calling it now:

Moyes will play defensively at home to try and prevent Bayern from getting the away goal, but this will fail with Bayern scoring, possibly twice. United will have to go to Munich chasing the game, but Bayern will score first and the mountain will be too high to climb.

Can you place a bet that specific? :pac:

How will it get him sacked? Nobody will expect Utd to beat the best team in Europe.

No. Semis draw on April 11th.

In relative terms yes, but let's face it Bayern are head and shoulders above the rest of Europe, they'd have pished all over the PL this year too.

    Yeah that's how quarter-finals work.

... that could have went better but fcuk it we are there - lets give Bayern a game and let the result take care of itself.

If Moyes manages to inspire the team to get a result against Bayern, then he truly will be a Man Utd. manager. The pessimist in me says 2-0 Bayern in Old Trafford and 1-1 in Munich.

It might be an idea to start Welbeck on the left wing, with specific instructions to support Buttner.
Welbeck can run all day and is very hard working

We'll be embarrassed and it'll come off the back of more bad results like getting done by City. I'd say in OT it'll be 0-4 at the best and another beating by 3 clear goals out there against Munich's second string. Genuinely think it could be a double digit humiliation if Munich are on song and we're going to see the club's record home defeat in Europe.

Delighted with the draw.. This what European football is all about ,,Facing one of the giants of European football in the knock out stages ,,fantastic..
    Bring it on...
