Irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. Hate to see any of Chelsea, City, or Liverpool winning it. But that's going to be the reality.

Best we can hope for is having a good run in and get some respectability back by finishing 6th or 5th. That's not beyond the realms of possibility.

It makes a brother sad to see fans hoping we loose and lamenting a 4-1 victory because they are of the opinion that the manager has already failed and they, personally, want him out.

Pretty proud to be a United fan when I see the reaction to that idiotic plane stunt. We are having as tough run of it but we are, for the most part, showing true class as a fan base.

People talking about fans voicing their displeasure and speaking as the internet guff is the opinion of the majority... the majority on message boards are up in arms but maybe the overall majority are in fact understanding of the situation at hand.
I remember reading on here about the UPC board and if you went over there you would think Horizon was a piece of sh!t but the reality is, it's pretty good!

As for the performance of the team...we were decent...Kagawa Mata Rooney Adnan offer some of the most potentially exciting combinations I have seen in my time as a United fan...its a pity we haven't the players give a foundation for them to play against better opposition.

    Liverpool will win the league.

    Better get used to it.

Think City will win today, but think they will drop points away to Everton.

But this goes back to something I said yesterday; some people don't seem to realise there's a difference between supporting the manager and supporting the team.

The manager is part of the team. What does "supporting the team" really mean if you can just pick people to exclude? The badge? The jersey? The board? Who, or what, are you really supporting when you support a club if not all of the people who represent it?

For me, Moyes has obviously not done well this season, but neither have a decent number of the players. It doesn't matter - I'll still support them all as long as they're doing everything they can to win matches. It hasn't gone well, but I'd be willing to bet that Moyes and every one of the players feel worse about it than any of us do. Morale must be in the toilet at the moment and turning on Moyes, or on the players, is definitely not going to improve that.

As long as he's in the driver's seat I'll still be behind him, even if I don't think he's up to the task.

You really have to wonder about the people who hired the plane. I presume they wanted a loss today and must be pissed off.

Seems to have backfired on them and all that money wasted. Well done Moyes.

I thought it was an excellent performance today. kagawa should be nailed on the teamsheet.. his link up with Rooney was great to watch. fantastic to see januzaj and chicharito linking up after both coming on. strange reaction from chicharito though.. looks like he could be leaving.

My main real criticism of moyes has been team selections. he hasn't gotten it right this year. wonder if it's dawning on him yet that when cleverley doesn't play United play well and actually win games.

Which is grand.....provided your not hypocritical about it and call for the heads of the players, as many Pro_Moyes people do.

"I support Man United, so I support the manager, and I think he needs to sell everyone and rebuild the team completely!"

Not saying you do, but a lot of people in a bid to support Moyes say they support the team while throwing the players hardly under the bus...

That is loyalty gone mad. You would be one of the type of people that accept everything a government does because they are in charge?

If you don't think he is up to the task, then your loyalty to the CLUB is to try to get it changed not standing proudly in the stands while your team drops further down the ladder. I'm sure Liverpool, City or Chelsea wil feel right mugs and admire our 'class' when they are no too busy trying to win things and compete in the CL next year.

I agree that booing players/manager because of a bad performance is uncalled for, but plenty of people have pointed out all the issues with Moyes, many of his own doing, while the only defence is that we don't fire managers.

Moyes is counting on that to somehow keep a job he is clearly unable for

Could handle City winning it, their fans are few and far between. The Liverpool fans are bad enough already having won nothing. SAF knocking them firmly off their perch along with Moyes making them the second best team in Liverpool has taken it's toll.

..SAF knocking them firmly off their perch...

And that's the reason I can accept anyone winning but them. SAF spent 26 years making United the most successful team in England. So any narrowing of the titles won gap between us and Liverpool would not be good.

But out of those two who would you rather see win it?

I'd rather see Chelsea win it but if it had to be one of those two I'd rather see City win it as they have already ended their long wait for a title. Wouldn't like to see Liverpool do the same.

I must have missed the plane flying the evra out banner.

Nobody is saying don't be critical and voice concerns in general. But on match day, at the ground, do things to support the team, get behind them collectively. Booing and banners against the team or members of it is not needed.

Happy with the result. I never want to see the team lose. Good to see Mata get his first and Kagawa is starting to stamp his authority on games. I think himself and Mata play very well together behind Rooney.

But then, if the discontent is kept silent, Moyes and co can keep their heads in the clouds and go "Nope, everything is fine, the fans want me to stay". So no thanks, I think I'll happily see people continue to voice their discontent in anyway which brings attention to the fact Moyes is out of his depth and we'd be better off without him.

But what is loyalty to the 'club'? What does that actually mean? Loyalty to the commercial organistation itself? I don't support a few buildings and some bank accounts, but a group of people. As long as Moyes is leading the team I'll get behind him, because the fans turning on him is only going to worsen the situation.

We don't own the club, we're not on the board, we can't replace him. So as long as he is at the wheel the only thing to do is support him, because to do otherwise will actually contribute to the team dropping further down the ladder as it makes morale even worse. Morale, the only thing fans can actually have an effect on.

More guff from Richard Keys, now saying that the club are in advanced talks with Nike over naming rights to OT,£500 Million being the figure for the deal.

I'll be cheering City on against Arsenal. The season has been bad enough. Dont think I could handle Liverpool winning the league too.

bitter rivalry and all that jazz, and respect the view points on who you would prefer to win the title, but I'm hoping the majority of neutrals are rooting for Liverpool to show the £ clubs that its not all about financial doping, but playing good football.

Moyes and united owners/board know fans are not happy with results. You can't really be suggesting the plane stunt and publicity suddenly made them aware of anything?

Absolutely. It feels dirty cheering on City and Chelsea but the rivalry outweighs everything. Theres no one I'd like to see win the title less than Liverpool, any year.

A neutral would surely want to see Liverpool win it.

To be honest Liverpool deserve to win the league. You don't have to like it but respect where it's due.
