Anyone willing to rental out their gear for a short film?

Hi guys I'm looking for some kind hearted gent to would be willing to rent out their gear for use in a short film. We would be looking to borrow some military style clothes for a day or two to shoot a character on blue screen. The gear won't be getting dirty or roughed up in anyway. Any one who may be interested could PM me. Pics would be ideal also

Do you have any funding for your movie? What days are you looking for the gear and how much are you paying per day. Where are you shooting the blue screen? Film set/ college/ your house? Do you need a Replica firearm as well? Will the public have access or be able to see? Will you be informing the Garda? I mean I'd have to drive to you and stick around for the day, just couldn't give you my 100's of euros worth of gear and hope I see you in a few days. When are you planning on shooting this? week days or weekends? This week? Do you have any insurance if my gear gets damaged or destroyed? Would love to help you out but need to know details your post is very vague. Info and details please most importantly whats your budget?

that would want to be a serious deposit, would you actually hand over your gear to someone you don't know :eek: and just leave it with him? I will most definitely be staying with my gear!!! We are talking hundreds and hundreds of euros worth of gear....

I know yeah, plus hours of actually putting it together, with that being said I'm a supporter of Irish film, and if this was actually a genuinely serious production, as it isn't really looking like now with the lack of replies, and if it means I can make some cash off it aswell...
But for now it seems ridiculous to just hand it over, not a chance

True, but if I was asking people to give us hundreds, possibly thousands of euro of gear I certainly wouldn't leave them waiting, it's only professionalism
