    Hey All.

    Overview:
Guitarist of 10+ years. Some live work but mostly play at home.
Looking for musicians to do some jamming with long term goal of doing a bit of live playing. Mainly into doing covers, but not adverse to some originals.

    Genre:
    Blues & Rock.

    Influences:
Rory Gallagher, Hendrix, ZZ Top, Zepplin, Peter Green etc etc.

    Location:
Im based in south Dublin but can travel within reason.

    Additional:

    Who Am I looking for
singer, bassist, drummer, maybe another guitarist. Im open to anyone whos up for making music, but i need to point out, I work 5 days a week so weekday practice is not suitable. It may be ok once or twice a month but this will mostly be weekend practice.

Also, Im not in this to make a living. If we make a few euro, thats brilliant, but im just in this to play music & have fun. If your looking for someone to attend practice 3-4+ times a week, regularly go gigging around the country, im not your guy.

I just mention this as i have been in a band before with guys who wanted to take it "all the way" and got annoyed when i couldnt practice 5 nights a week due to work.

let me know if i left any info out our you need any more details, Thanks!

So....after two weeks of PM's containing hesitancy, indecisiveness, and general excuses.....:D.... I have come to the conclusion that this project is not going to take place. Cant be waiting around for people to decide if/when they will be available.

Best of luck with it lads.....your are going to need lots of it. ;)

    Hey Dude,

Its stated in the first post that im a working professional and this is a hobby. Of the few replies I got all are in a similar boat so its tough to get the ball rolling and get a date to suit all.

Having to work, having to mind their child or travelling due to work are not "general excuses".

We will meet up and maybe something will come of it, maybe not, who knows, but nobody should drop everything because you want to play a bit of bass. :-)

Best of luck to yourself in your endeavor's. Il remove you from any private message threads ;-)

If you have not got the time to follow through, why bother starting a thread in the first place ?

    Over and out !! :)
