blank screen when i click on internet

I already posted this on laptops forum because i was unsure where to post. since this morning when i click on the internet in my laptop the screen is white and nothing happens. The address bar is blank too. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you got internet connection...?

Open up a command prompt (search cmd)

and ping google's DNS server to see if you get a reply
ping 8.8.8.8
