what temp at manifold??

Hi all, I have underfloor downstairs and rads upstairs,6 zones ds all controlled individually by room stats,all working grand.however there is a stat(very similar to a trv)at the manifold with temp settings from 20-50deg.i presume this controls the temp of the water in the ufloor heating.my question is what should this be…

Hi all,
I have underfloor downstairs and rads upstairs,6 zones ds all controlled individually by room stats,all working grand.however there is a stat(very similar to a trv)at the manifold with temp settings from 20-50deg.i presume this controls the temp of the water in the ufloor heating.my question is what should this be set at?it was at 45 but another plumber told me to drop it to 25.was 45 too high?would i burn more oil the higher the temp on this valve?thanks
