I'm on my first week of lexapro & I am feeling so sick in my stomach that i cant eat at all. Is this a common side effect & if so does it take long to subside? I've been on citalapram before with no effects but i think i was on stemicel (sp) for first week. Im taking motillium but its not really helping :( I'm taking the lexapro at 7pm as its making me very tired, would changing the time i take it help with the sickness?

    Suggest you ask your pharmacist.
    That's what they're there for.

My first week on lexapro I felt nauseous too. The smell & taste of food made me feel sick (I even disliked chocolate for first time in my life!). But it settled down after a week or two. I never had a good appetite on it but stuck with it for it's other benefits.

Best to chat to your Dr to see if what you feel is a 'normal' level of nausea.
