Following from a discussion on linkedin in another forum I was just wondering if anyone uses it? I do but its only to snoop-on endorse friends..

Is there any point in asking if anyone ever got headhunted from it?

It might have been handy for that poster looking for an Irish teacher during the orals!

I can understand how it's useful for people who work in business to network. I doubt any principal would headhunt prospective teachers from it when they have to advertise through the correct channels . As for subs, they get so many cv's that they can build up their own database.
