Am I "signed off" if I do a course?

Hey, There's 2 courses I want to do which will help me get a job I want, one is an evening course and the other is an online course. If I do one of these courses will I be "signed off" but yet technically still on the social? Or will I still need to go to the post office? Thanks

If you are doing an evening course or an online course you should still be able to receive jobseekers but you will still be expected to be available and looking for full time work. You need to let your sw office know if you are on one of these courses and they will be notified of this and best to have it sorted at the beginning.
