Three month contract job Galway

I'll be finishing my degree in chemistry at the end of May and moving away to start a masters in September. I want to get a job on a 3 month contract in between. Can anyone tell me how to get in on the factory floor of a medical device company? Or know of any other short term work I could get?

I would suggest trying to get some research with a lecturer in your college, they are usually happy to take on a motivated summer student though the pay wont be great but it could be enjoyable.
