parking in Sandycove?

    is there any parking in Sandycove except from those on the road?

    There's some parking beside the Spar shop opposite Fitzgeralds pub but everything else is on the road.

    Just to point out that it is paid parking by the Spar and Ballygihen avenue. Everywhere else going towards Dalkey is free on street parking.
    Parking is a bit of a nightmare around there in my opinion

    agree completely, I live on Sandycove road but can't get a parking permit because there is free parking on the road.
    The council seem happy to ignore the fact that the paid parking 50m up the road is always empty as everyone, in their right mind, parks in the free spaces.
    Another one for the councillors when they call to the door looking for re-election
