Bought one of these a couple of years ago (on Pixmania of all places for around this price) and it works well with both a Sony TV and a Sony blu-ray player that it was tested on. I use it all the time on the blu-ray player and works well.

Seems to be sold out or expired now at that price. However the N600 is £29.99.

Think one of these is a much better puchase at a fiver cheaper 2 ethernet ports, wired and wireless repeating, and a 2amp usb charger thrown in for good measure, and much tidier that the n600 that can't even standup with the stiffness of its own cables.

I have a TP-Link TL-WR710N and it's great except for repeating - it just doesn't work reliably for that.

It's particularly useful for travelling when you end up somewhere that only has wired access or free wired and charges for wifi and as moodrater says, the USB charger is also handy - a lot of hotels seems to be short on sockets.

I got mine in Germany with a European plug, I think it's also available in Currys

Have you got the latest firmware, I have no probs repeating. Yours is the 8Mb version though probably so open-wrt is installable.

Probably a silly question but is the linked product a homeplug or just powered by plug?

If it's not a homeplug perhaps one of those with wireless extender built in would be a viable alternative?
