Although I do believe sugar and some carbs are bad for us, all of these opinions from experts are probably paid for by varying lobbyists or groups. I would take them all with a pinch of salt.

I've recently switched to eating more fat and less wheat/sugar...low and behold my fridge is now incidentally packed with whole foods and little if any processed food.

The producers of what I eat now are usually farmers, often local farmers. For that reason I don't believe there to be nearly as much 'lobbying' for me to eat it.

There might be, but if there is it's a drop in the ocean compared to the lobbying behind wheat/sugar consumption.

That's because the farmers washed down their oul' lobby...
