New clutch and drive shaft

    The clutch has gone on ford connect van and the garage has said the drive shaft is worn and needs replacing. How much am i looking at?

    Well as they have the van and already have the part split when they told me what was wrong and then said they wouldn't know the cost until they'd ordered the drive shaft and clutch i was looking for ideas of the price.

    Ok on these the most likely have a dual mass flywheel which will need changing also.
    So clutch kit and flywheel in the region off 400 to 500
    Drive shaft second hand 60e
    Or if it's just the cv joint prob 60e aswell

    So let's say ur parts are ball park 500
    If it's in a garage I can't see the labour being any less then 300 to be honest.

    Nice handy job on them vans but that's a ruff estimate

    Thanks that's very helpful :(. Well thats what we get for putting it off we kept saying end of last year we wanted to trade it.
