    Hi
I'm looking for a radio for the kitchen that will also take Aux input from an iphone. I'm looking at DAB also but do't fully understand it. From the research I've done, RTE are the only Irish stations with DAB output.
    Is this true

    Thanks for the post.

There are a number of stations that broadcast but sometimes the reception can dictate what stations you actually get.

The schedule of what's on can be found here : http://www.digitalradio.ie/schedules/

In terms of reception, here is the coverage map but it's not always 100% accurate.

    http://www.digitalradio.ie/can-i-get-dab/

There are a number of DAB Radios that you could look at.

    http://www.richersounds.com/product/internet-dab-radio/pure/evoke-d2/pure-evoke-d2-wal

This is a good little radio that has a good review in What Hifi and for less than £100 is a great buy. It has FM as a fall back to any stations that you can't get on DAB. Delivery on this would be £12.99.

Alternatively if you wanted something much better sounding and a bit of fun and a little retro......

    http://www.robertsradio.co.uk/product_details/Revival_DAB.htm

We have these in a few different finishes but the RD60 in cream is the most popular for kitchens. This is a brilliant sounding radio and is completely portable with up to 120 hours battery life on 1 set of batteries.

This is priced at £179.95 but I could do one including delivery to you for £169.95 / €210.

Alternatively we also have the Vintage :

http://www.robertsradio.co.uk/product_details/VINTAGE.htm - Slightly less battery life and not as impressive as the RD60, but is more affordable.

This one would work out at £139.95 / €175 including delivery.

Let me know what you think of these.

Lots of stations broadcast DAB across the UK and Europe - unfortunately in Ireland its limited to a few regions and reception can be patchy - if you want some more info you could have a look here ( although some of the info may be a little out of date) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DAB_in_Ireland

On your own radio requirements, sorry that we didn't get a suitable model in the first instance - if you would like to give us a spec you are looking for including features and a target price we will do our best to recommend a unit to you.

Thanks again and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,

    Best regards,
