    just wondering how long does it take for revenue to transfer your tax back into your bank account?

    Are you referring to income tax?

    It depends. For example, I submitted a paper return (Form 11) in October and only got my refund today. But that was down to the fact I submitted at the busiest time, it was a complicated return, I made a minor error on the return and Revenue seem to be snowed.

    Previously I've had refunds within 4 weeks

    Did you apply for a refund of tax from a previous tax year? Are you referring to income tax? claimed online? Bit more info needed.

    In my experience its been fairly quick - I'd say a week between getting a P21 and receiving the refund into my bank a/c
